I’m a reporter and audio producer currently working for Marketplace. My radio stories have aired on NPR, New Hampshire Public Radio and Wyoming Public Media. I’ve produced stories about secret apartments in New York’s libraries, interfaith protests at ICE offices and the competitive world of food vendors on the county fair circuit.
For two years I taught in Banda Aceh, Indonesia as a Shansi Fellow and organized screenings and events for the local film organization Aceh Documentary. I’ve taught storytelling at Cleveland Public Theater, Girls in Motion, the International Humanity Foundation and Syiah Kuala University. I'm a graduate of the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies and Oberlin College. My name is pronounced the opposite of whatever your first guess was.
